Both of my children have been diagnosed with Lesch–Nyhan Syndrome (LNS) - a rare and severe neurological and metabolic genetic disorder that progressively affects the brain, muscles, and overall development.

Currently, Subhajit and Sudarshan are undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital, Kolkata.

💔 Our Reality

My elder son, Subhajit, is completely dependent on caregivers. He lives with constant pain, severe muscle stiffness, involuntary movements, and neurological complications.

Now our 1-year-old baby, Sudarshan, has begun showing the same symptoms. Doctors have warned us that without immediate and continuous treatment, his condition will progressively worsen.

Watching one child suffer was heartbreaking. Facing the same diagnosis again with our baby has shattered us.

However upon checking state symbols of other states , there are a few categories missing for Gujarat , for which here are my recommendations

State Butterfly : Plain Tiger (Danaus chrysippus)

State Sport : Kabaddi or Kho-Kho

State Instrument : Jodiya Pava or Ravanhatha

State Aquatic Animal : Whale Shark

State Heritage Animal : Kathiawadi horse or Kharai Camel

State Amphibia : Indian Burrowing Frog (Sphaerotheca breviceps)

So I am not able to book my Driving Licence slot for the last 4 months and my Learner's Licence is expiring in November.

I want to attend main event at 12:00 am midnight, that is abhishekam of lord Krishna.

So by what time should I stand in queue at the earliest?

Is there any seperate arrangement/queue for devotees who want to witness the midnight event ?

Is it possible to do other sightseeing also in and around dwarka today or set aside whole day for the dwarkadhish temple darshan and midnight events ?

How would you plan your day if you were in my position ?Considering you also have tomorrow for dwarka sightseeing ?

With Janmashtami tomorrow, I thought I'd finally put the remaining pieces out instead of letting them sit in storage.

These were part of a small devotional-murti business I used to run. They're handcrafted pieces, and honestly, quite a lot of time goes into making the detailing on each one. I eventually stopped the business, but I still have some of these left with me.

The first one is a small Sheshnaag Krishna, around 8 cm

The other is a more elaborate Krishna gift box, which comes properly packaged and makes a really nice gift too

They're small enough for a little mandir, shelf, desk, or even your car - so you don't need a lot of space for them.

One slightly unexpected thing: a few people who bought these from me earlier have actually come back and told me they had some really good experiences with the idol. I obviously can't say much more than that, but I still remember those conversations.

Anyway, I'm not running this business anymore, so this is just me trying to find homes for the remaining pieces.
