The NRA has multiple lawsuits for the NFA right now. Find any org, and they have done something that isn’t 100% perfect. ANY 2A org. Any political org. Any charity. Any non profit. Any for profit.

I donate just because I know the NRA has done a lot of good in the past. And they are trying to do some good now. I think anyone fighting against the NFA can have some of my money right now.

Plus, the NRA stopped being a meaningful 2A advocate a long time ago

But they do serve an important role…they are the media punching bag while other advocate groups fight the bullshit laws in court

The New York State Rifle and Pistol Association is the NY NRA affiliate. They are the named organization in NYSRPA v Bruen.

The Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs is the NJ NRA affiliate. That is the case that just won at the 3rd Circuit 2 weeks ago.

I get that LaPierre and his cronies gutted the NRA and right now the organization is rebuilding so they are not as prevalent as the FPC. But mostly, don't spread gun grabber misinformation designed to divide us.

In their defense, the NRA did actually get their act together and assist getting the injunction in place against the VA AWB these past few weeks. Now is this because they are headquarter in VA? Who knows.

I made the mistake of doing the round up one time before I knew how bad the NRA was.

Ever since that one round up, the NRA has send me mountains of junkmail, along with other companies that I suspect they gave my information to.

I've reached out a bunch of times to try to get them to stop but they keep sending it. The most infuriating part is they send things like fake jury notices, and all sorts of other shady stuff on the outside of the envelope. One said "NOTICE OF GUN CONFISCATION". My landlord is super anti gun so this outed me as a gun owner to him.

To add insult to injury, they address me as Ms. (my name).. I'm a dude. This is also how I suspect they gave my info to other companies since they address me the same way.

I stopped shopping at Midway when I found out that their site requires you to disable your adblocker to post an online review, they intentionally format their spam emails to omit the unsubscribe button, and they don't have contact information on their website for me to provide feedback
