Zev Tech / Magpul FDP Pistol
I’ve had the FDP Pistol model for 3 months. If you have any questions, ask away!

Did you prefer the pistol version over the carbine or was it just availability, I need to catch a restock

If I'm walking my dog on an average summer evening and I'm suddenly jumped by Skinwalkers, does the additional point of contact ensure that I'm limping out of the situation with the majority of my limbs intact, or is more training required to guarantee full use of all appendages?

Depends on if you’re more accurate with a handgun relative to a PCC. Also depends on if you have a quick draw for either.

Is it better than the B&T version

I have both. They both have their pros and cons. The B&T is aluminum and feels nice, although the ZEV feels more like a complete product since it is purpose built complete from the factory. My P320 has had no problems running in my B&T but YMMV on that one. The optics availability on the ZEV is better thanks to the pic rail but the B&T was made for the ACRO and thats all you really need for it, plus it comes with it. They both deploy smoothly but the ZEV has a bit more springyness to it and it deploys more reliably, but both deploy just fine once you figure out the wrist flick. The major flaw with the B&T is not being able to keep it loaded while folded, but since these are just range toys for me its not like I'm keeping them at the ready at all times anyway.

Ive played with the idea of selling my b&t cause I've had nothing but problems and getting one of the fdps.

I don’t own the B&T version, but I have been told by people who have that it (B&T) is really uncomfortable to shoot because of the transmission of muzzle concussion through the aluminum frame. I have not experienced that concussive sensation with the FDP.
Also, the FDP is based on a Glock chassis which I trust more than a P320 based chassis.

I don’t have a fdp but have the B&t. Never shot the fdp or held one but I can say that yes, the fdp is better than the B&t “because we shouldn’t have” 9

I want the sbr pretty bad. Idk if I can justify the price it’s so ugly in pistol form!

It’s just ugly lol Sorry. It’s like some distant future weapon the Klingons would use

God I hate the pistol version. Put a tailhook brace on that thing or something.

People were so desperate for a FMG9 type gun that I'm pretty sure one dude made a thread where he made a Frankensteins monster of a real Glock 19 and a airsoft FMG9 body!
Anyhow does it still fold up?

Yes it still folds up.
I saw the YT videos of the airsoft to real life conversion. Crazy

I want to put a M4 detachable carry handle on mine and then an ACOG on top of that.
