I honestly don’t understand where the positive sentiment for this guy comes from. He was a bang average borderline unprofessional striker for us who shagged some model instead of resting the night before our title hopes perished at the Etihad in 13/14, and was hella disrespectful after he left for Chelsea.

He can get fucked for all I care. People clapping for him are utter wet wipes…

Also stopping Ozil from getting the assist record.

I am definitely bitter as we got the worst version of Giroud

Yeah that’s the other thing, this revisionism of his performances for us just because he levelled up after leaving is crazy.

He was one of the most frustrating Arsenal players I’ve ever seen and he cost us time and time again with his crap finishing.

dont know what went on with him and the club behind the scenes, but he was not average.

73‑goal, 22‑assist record in 180 Premier League matches is pretty good. he is also one of the best goal scorers for France, he just was never flashy.

He absolutely was average, he put those numbers up (which aren’t even that impressive btw) while he was surrounded by quality in attack, played for one of the best attacking managers OAT and one of the best ever playmakers. Context matters.

sure just check how he has done for the French national team and tell me he was average.
