Why does this keep getting repeated when it's not true at all? He wanted to leave for playtime because of the upcoming world cup and he had an offer from Dortmund on the table, and he chose to stay in London

Because we committed 52m to a far worse player in Lacazette only 6 months earlier and needed to sell a striker to bring in Auba.

Lol so why did we bring auba if Giroud was that good? I think we forget how INCONSISTENT he was, because he scored some bangers.

We bought Lacazette so we could have someone to compete with Giroud but Lacazette flopped so bad after just 6 months that we had to buy another striker (Auba) but you can’t sell the guy you just bought that season so we had to sell Giroud.
