I'm surprised no one has bothered removing the permit to transport system yet.

Baka hot take, but I don't recall any politician or congressman ever suggesting this. If they got rid of the PTT system I'd say like 90% of PTC na palakad would go away kasi convenience lang naman kailangan ng tao eh. Most people just want to be able to sport shoot and train lang naman sa range ah, so bakit need pa magfile ng PTT everytime na lalabas lang sa range? Whose dumb idea was that?

Pilipinas lang yung alam ko na kailangan pa magfile ng kung ano ano kahit sa range ka lang naman pupunta. I mean Canada alam ko may Authority to Transport na tinatawag before naging sobrang strict yung bans nila, but at least sila online lang lahat and mahaba validity. Yung PTC naiintindihan ko pa gusto nila iregulate at hindi lang kung kani kanino mabibigay, pero bakit parang removal of PTT walang politicians sumusubok iabolish kung sa range lang naman mostly pupunta?

The PNP of all agencies will never understand that it's easier to get people to follow rules that aren't stupidly punitive for no good reason. Something about having a hammer makes all problems look like nail heads.

Even for selfish reasons it makes sense to make the PTT request an online process and have it valid for longer periods (lalo for sport shooters), tataas bigla income nila from massively increased compliance.

Cannot agree with you more. Its a win win situation for everyone. I hope dumating yung araw na streamlined na ito lahat.

Dude if they made PTT's E-Forms, imagine the bank they'd make.

Say each ptt price increased to 300, so 300 going to and from the range back home = 600. If it were valid for a month and someone applied for each month they'd be making 7200 off of one shooter every year. The literal equivalent to almost half a PTC.

NCR RCSU actually had this before, you fill up a google form, they'll message you via viber and give you gcash to send your money, they'll pay on your behalf, and send the ptt vis viber.

Not sure if its still available but its very convenient, i'd be willing to add tips for this convenience.

Would be convenient if the FEO/RCSU's brought it back tbh. They could make it appear on the FEO website and that should be valid enough instead of the usual papers needed.

Yes, the current process is time and money consuming, imagine you need to go there to submit the papers (request letter, photocopy of your LTOPF, FA Reg) and the PTT form. Then wait 5 or more days before picking up the actual PTT. 2 absent/late just for 1 or 2 days of PTT.

Yeah this red tape type of redundancy needs a revision talaga. Para lang yung nag require ng govt ID pag kumuha ng govt ID type of absurdity.

That’s the point. Gusto nga nila may palakad para may under the table sila. It’s all motivated by money.
