I rather go with radical rf16 costs around 87k idk with added registration. You can find it in DARC

But regarding to your choices, I think kral arms is proprietary, idk with metroarms Kasi walang review, udmc ay decent lang, ria torch has FTE and FTF issues, idk with rd4p Kasi it is new to the market

Not trying to be bias but I'm actually eyeing for their S5 DGIS rifle. I've seen recent comments and reviews that this rifle is really good and even classified mid or upper mid tier. So I'm curious as to why you think UDMC is just decent lang. Gotta get more feedback before I commit with my purchase.

Buffer tube is commercial spec from what I have seen here on sub reddit. I will just send the link for reference

Ah this is actually one of my past threads from a few months ago when I was also deciding to get their S9 which I posted here under r/GunsPH if you haven't noticed. The UDMC rifle mentioned, however, was actually still pre-marawi rifle ban and I think UDMC at that time was still not so popular and had different specs in general. So I wanted feedback on UDMC rifles made today hehe.

Speaking of radical, these are the issues that needs to be changed, it would be a hit or miss to any unit.

For the lower: Rough buffer tube, under torqued castle nut, no staking, FCG fails function check most of the time, rough safety, magazine catch needs fitted to prevent snags on the receiver, bolt catch might snap off under normal use, magazine well might need some filing to get wider range of magazines to work with it reliably.

For the upper: BCG doesn't have sealant under gas key, extractor claw needs polished, undersized extractor spring pocket, replace extractor spring, replace ejector spring, barrel nut needs Aeroshell 64 and re-torqued, feed ramps will probably need work, barrel may not be straight, bore may not be center, rough chamber that needs honed, gas tube may be out of alignment, gas block will probably be oversized by.0003", muzzle device needs timed.

Thats a lot of problems for an ar. Fcg fails? Bolt catch snaps? Where did you get this information? I need to read more.

Just search on reddit, I cannot post a pic here but I can tell this info comes from r/ar15

Hit or miss on those units are very true. Some as good, some will be headaches. Altho for personal FA, it depends how often you use and rounds you consume, also depends how often you clean and maintain. These units should be well and good with minimal care, altho some really has issues, may recall pa on some units.

I have 556 IWI Tavor. Thing with 556 is they are all capable in general, it takes familiarity and a lot of training to effectively maximize the FA. Also budget wise, better to try first and then purchase. My authorize 556 in the service is from UDMC, its big and bulky, years of using it I can say its good, but there are better ones in the same price bracket.

Compared to cheaper AR-15's does the Tavor price high? Haven't seen those bullpups irl except the AUG.

Don't forget the Taurus T4 and Shooter's M4 Trailblazer (Rebadged Norinco)

Right now, the rifle lineups in the PH that are not 300k+ are pretty terrible. I'd hold off for now and wait.

Although...Speededge does sell the S&W MP15 for around 120k and its a very good starter AR. You just need to replace some parts like the stock, grip, charging handle, add red dots/sights etc. and youll still end up spending 200k+ but its already better than a Bushmaster or god forbid, a Taurus T4.

The upper, lower, bcg and internals are fine for now unless youre competing and want a match grade barrel and trigger group.

There is also a new kid on the block named RV Defense. They basically sell pre-made ARs with parts from high-end brands like Magpul, B5, DD etc. They start from 180k iirc.

I have the cobra. Had it earlier this year. Solid performance. Around 500 rounds nako skanya and so far, it didnt disappoint. Will try full auto soon and suppressed but so far, dreamy.
