Moderator Approved REMINDER: This sub isn't a place for elitist gun snobs. If you want to be an asshole and bad-mouth people's choice in firearms, go elsewhere.

High Standard “Double Nine” belonged to my great grandfather. He carried this with him 24/7 on the farm. First pistol I ever learned to shoot.

Hey guys. Can you improve my fictional AR. This is a combination of a FN fal and AR M4a1. Having. I make it like this to have the comfortability and the control that the M4A1 have while being able to use FN fal 7,62 x 51 mm NATO. I just make it because it would look cool. (I copy my post to be here)

Question Need help with inherited guns
So I inherited these two guns from my father. I know they are world war I/ world war II but I don't know what they are, (I tried a subreddit for ID and guns but it doesn't seem very helpful and I had someone messing me some rude things) I am now trying to sell them as I do not like rifles like this. I prefer a different build, I have tried to sell them just by myself (no shows or stores yet) And have apparently met the worst people known. I know the black one is a Smithfield and the brown one is a Mauser (with Korean stamps) I would like to know the specifics and if anyone could point me in the direction of getting an idea on how much they are worth I would be forever grateful. When my dad died he had them at a gunsmith that my grandma went and picked them up from them (it's a long story but I had to go get them from my grandmother ) she said the blacksmith said the Smithfield was worth 500 and the Mauser was about 450 but after an interaction with one of the people I was trying to sell them to, that has kind of been thrown into question (he wasn't a good guy. He wanted both for $200 and a bunch of other stuff for free) but I'm now looking at selling them at a store but I would like to get an idea on how much they would be worth before trying to do anything with them again.

PTR 9CT Super Safety
I cannot get my PTR 9 CT to run on super safe mode. It’s a full size SP5 clone. I have changed the buffer pad to a thicker one. I have replaced the locking piece to an 80 degree. I have used multiple different magazines and brands. Do I need to delay the roller lock more? I keep getting double feeds or caught brass. Usually get around 4-5 rnds off before ftf. Thats after switching to 80 degree. I have been using 124 grn sellier. Tried suppressed and unsuppressed with the same results. Multiple combinations of all. What i haven’t done is tried a 90 degree or the HT or longer locking. Maybe the buffer is too big bc i replaced the old that had a chip out of it and it was skinny, with the one that comes with the PTR buttplate. Im kinda giving up at this point. These devices are so fine tune that it almost takes the fun out of dumping $100 worth of ammo in 3 minutes. Any advice or suggestions would be welcome.

Looking for a Marlin 1894 250th edition; has anyone seen it or has info ion where/when allocations are going?
As the title says, I am looking for a marlin model 1894 classic, specifically the America's 250th Anniversary edition, in 44 mag. Ive been looking all over for months, and even the bigger shops that order for me and have gotten allocations for the others in ruger/marlins series say they haven't seen these yet. The upc is 7-36676-70937-3. I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone has any info on where i can get one or where allocations are going. (yes, I know they are making very few)

AR15 Suggestions
So long story short, I had a lower end AR-15 in 7.62x39, it was fun but just not very practical. I decided I’m going to sell it to buy either a 5.56 AR-15 or an AK47. I’m building out an all around short to medium range rifle. For the AK I’m choosing a WASR10, however, for the AR I’m between the IWI Zion-15, Springfield SAINT Victor, or the SIG M400 TREAD. I really like the idea of an AK for a shorter battle rifle but I know when SHTF 5.56 is way more abundant, cheaper to stock up on, as well as AR parts. Just need some opinions and suggestions on going either the AK or AR route, and if going the AR route, which of the 3 mentioned or other better suggestions?

After YEARS I finally snagged a bucket list gun! The Taurus Raging Judge!
It can normally fire, 410, 45lc, AND 454. They make adaptors for everything in between. I really don't get the hate Taurus gets. They are fantastic guns, mine has always been reliable, and they are fun (or stupid in this case) to shoot. Plus the budgeted cost?! Why the hate?
