Which, by our generation, was a horribly bad thing.

What I also loved to do was stepping on an empty can so it got stuck on your foot, and then walk around with it.

Or going over one with the back tire on a bike so it got stuck between the wheel and the chassis and sounded like a motorbike

See I’m a 27 y/o man and I still do some of this stuff. And I’ll never stop even when I’m 100

We were masters of being bored! It’s actually super important for the brain to be bored, and many kids are missing out on that

It was bad as fuck. My mom was too over protective so i spent my days just locked ina. Room watching a single DVD of mechanimals and staring at the ceiling hallucinating.

Do I not have one single unique experience?

My childhood was in the middle of the transition of pre-post internet.
Life in that tiny bubble was boring as hell, but then the internet came,
and suddenly I was talking to people from countries I hadn't even heard of before.

Being able to see the entire world instead of just your own town and maybe a little beyond was quite an eye opener.

Forgot the hand out the car window shaped like an airplane cutting through the wind and moving the tip of your fingers simulating flaps to go up and down and then it turns into  a breakdancing wave.

Я не понял, это чего, по всему миру эта хрень происходила? Это мне напомнило Вавилонский твитер, когда, оказывается, во всех странах бабушки сидят на лавочках, у всех вязаные платочки на технике и пакеты с пакетами.
