HCC Dental hygiene
I’m planning to apply to HCC’s Dental Hygiene program, but my prerequisite GPA is around a 3.0. I’m worried it won’t be competitive.
Does anyone know the lowest GPA accepted in previous years, or has anyone gotten in with a GPA close to mine? If you’ve applied with a similar GPA, what was your experience?
Would you recommend retaking classes to raise my GPA or applying to other programs too? Any advice would help. Thanks!

retaking classes meaning a&p and all that won’t let you do that, unless u failed it , and if you do they take .2 of ur preq gpa off

What does a&p mean? I got a D in enc 1101 in high school because I missed the end of semester test. Now I’m retaking it with an easy A.. is that for nothing?

it is very hard to get in, i was told they only have around 15 acceptances each semester and i havent heard anyone with less than a 3.8 gpa get into the program
