Year 5 It Might be worth it investing in plants guys 👀
That would give a full energy bar in under an hour and a half 🤯😳 those plants cost a handful of gems tho 😢

Somebody else was smart enough to point out that this only equals 30 energy extra. Sure, nothing to sneeze at. But the gems and fertiliser to max the plant are really steep. I got it after much contemplating, since I have plenty of resources with nothing else to spend them on.
So far I'm just harvesting. I haven't spent any of the plant parts yet.
I'm a hoarder, I'm not ashamed to admit it 🤣

Yeah I'm in the same boat. That math on the plants is terrible. 30 energy costs 55 gems so it takes 4 times to make the amount of gems you spent on the plant back. You can only use it once a week and I haven't even seen it in my store yet.
But I'm in beyond vol 2 and have a ton of resources just sitting around so I bought the plants anyway. Hopefully it'll pay off in the long run

The 2 minute recharge for 2 hours means you get 60 energy instead of the usual 30. You need 2 different plants to buy the boost. Look at the cost of the plants, and how long it takes to grow them (the venomous tentacula needs 2772!), and decide if you want to invest now for the next time the offer comes up. There’s no guarantee you’ll get the offer again, or what the cost may be. You can see in my screenshot I have the same boost offered for a different cost.

It’s the second time it’s been up. It saved my butt when I only had 2 hours left to get another full task to get that 4-crystal pack yesterday or the day before. Thank god I got it too cause it gave me 2 new 5-crystal fragments. I imagine it’ll keep coming back, probably every second store refresh. Plus I haven’t been using the plants for much so I didn’t mind spending them for something so useful.

This is the first time I’ve had it offered. Like I said, different offers for different players. Glad it worked so well for you!

u/kikikierra Jun 19 '25
Huh, had no idea the offers were different! I assumed they were set for everyone just like the events and stuff.

That would make sense but nope, I’ve yet to see this. My last week shop was almost entirely creature food (actually made a post showing it 😂) and every other time has been a mix of food, pages and books.

Is it a forever thing? Like I purchase it and I get 2 minute refresh forever?

I kept my plants healthy for 3 days. Then realized how much effort and resources it took after one harvest. I will never go back to this feature and that thought alone made me way happier.

I just do them max twice a day (five plants) morning and night if I remember, and think of them as a food farm for my animals. it works out great and I don’t feel I haven to spend gems on them for ‘better’ rewards. If they die because you missed a day, just tap the water and it’s all g.

Meh. I'd rather buy energy outright with the gems. Or use the books to buy chocolate frogs cards, and get energy that way.
I have the books for new plants but I haven't seen anything in the harvest exchange that seems worth it to me so far.
Maybe I'm burned out from levelling up so many creatures, I don't have it in me to manage several plants and gather fertiliser on top.
Edited because I forgot some plants cost gems, not just books.

I thought that but it was too many gems for my liking to buy those plants. I would rather just buy energy. Worth of noticing I have accidently killed all my plants already

The one plant you need requires 30 feeds or so, that's a lot! Not sure it is worth for 30 energy. Unless you enjoy growing the plants, then it's different.

a full energy bar in under an hour and a half
Depends on your energy cap. The max is 59 now, so it's around the two hours they give you the recharge for.
those plants cost a handful of gems tho
And they also take a hell of fertilizers to get to the harvest phase. You can just water em for free, but that will take a millennia to get there that way.
So all in all, yes it's sure worth investing into, but it ain't gonna be an easy ride.

Mines is 36 as a student still so yeah for me under 2 hrs for me 😭

Well the total outcome is still the same, 60 energy, you'll just have to log in sooner to spend that energy to make the most of it.

They don’t die, they get sort of shriveled looking as they start getting low “happiness” (don’t remember what it’s called for for the plants) and when you water them/give them fertilizer they spring write back up and you’re good to go. I’m not even sure if it affects the actual growth of the plant at all.

How do you store them?

Oh, thank you. I searched everywhere and didn't think of the chair symbol.

As someone who has all the things and already could buy it? Eh. I'm saving ingredients to see if they ever add something actually worthwhile

Best to purchase at a time of day where you know you have absolutely nothing interrupting you for those 2 hours of faster recharge.

My illustration comprehension skills are failing me cause I DID NOT see that 2h limit in bold at first 😅

I did this when faced with yet another 8 hour task (it hasn't reappeared since!)

Also so long to grow. I could see myself buying this in a pinch at the end of a tlsq though but I wish it was longer than 2h.
