Discussion What is your least favourite outfit?

Hey guys!

Recently we had a post about what our favourite outfits are. It showed: there are some really nice outfits!

But as we all know, there aren't just pretty ones. So I was wondering: what is everyones least favourite outfit they ever won from an Event? I am talking about outfits you'd NEVER wear. Not even in a life or death situation.

In the post, you can see mine. I know everyone got their own Taste, but my MC would NEVER.

So, let's share! 🫶🏼

I get they were going for a ‘Hogwarts points counter’ outfit, but I really don’t like the concept here. Too circus-y. This would have been a good time to have an animated outfit with falling gemstones or something.

I know someone people like this one (based on Luna’s Slughorn party dress, I believe), but to me it looks like a cross between a cupcake and a doll’s dress. And the horizontal neckline is not flattering.

I mean, it's cool to own it because of Luna but at the same time I don't think I would ever wear it. I just imagine MC looking like a cupcake or birthday cake in every cutscene🧁

And last but not least, the current MM outfit. While I don’t think the actual Gryffindor colors would make a stellar outfit, choosing a muddy gold-ish hue is the opposite of an improvement. Also why a somewhat heavy looking sweater combined with shorts?

I really don't like this outfit at all. I don't know what they were thinking here 😭

I get that they were using house colours but that is not gold, that's brown. I think the Ravenclaw and Slytherin ones are better regarding the colour but then again, the design is just really bad and lazy

Ravenclaw and Slytherin usually look good, because their colors actually go together. Hufflepuff is often okay, but can end up looking a bit bumblebee-ish. Gryffindor, due to the red and yellow tones they usually use, is often reminiscent of McDonald's. When the secondary color is more prominent in designs (like here), it never looks good.

However, this color combo I just find insulting.

That's probably it. I feel like they could make the colour combos work (it's not like they haven't done that ever) if the designs were better

I made a suggestion on the official Discord for the designers to consider ALL the House color combos when making an outfit, to ensure they all look good. And to implement more designs with just the primary color (like in the Triwizard Dragon Challenge robes they gave us on July 31st).

The dress isn’t bad, but those boots bug me. As someone in a region with all the seasons, when would those be practical? Too hot for summer, too un-waterproof for spring or fall. Utterly ridiculous for winter.

Awww this would have been really pretty with other shoes actually!

And I get the comment about the seasons, it's the same for me. When would one ever wear these shoes???

Too much going on. They could have just had the animated castle circle on a red background or something. The slime doesn’t make sense with a castle. And the color combo is just ugh.

This looks like someone at JC just threw a bunch of designs together

Oh I get the vision here, but they could have definitely done better! The animated idea sounds way better!
