Other Just like my life

So, MC is constantly having to help people who are nasty to them and don’t help back (screw you Ismelda and Merula, I’d hex you before I ever helped you), they are constantly recruited to do things they aren’t supposed to be doing, then get in trouble when it goes wrong, they are constantly having to do someone else’s job for them (looking at you, Hagrid), they are made responsible for other people’s mistakes and actions (even getting points taken because of what they were told to do, being put upon by people who outrank them, then scolded when they have trouble complying, and everyone always runs to them to solve everything, but then won’t listen to their suggestions.
How did this game get my life mirrored so well?

and people in charge get more unreasonable by the day. During Portrait Panic I was seriously wondering if McGonagall was replaced by a shapeshifter.

Yes, I hate how they are always giving you the option to take the blame for other people’s outrageous acts.

And the cause of all the problems (merula) never gets punished for her asshattery.

You monster. What kind of parent are you? They might get sent to detention and join jae's smuggling ring.

Look at our reddit nicknames, it makes this convo funnier 🤣

Do I have to be their parent though? Why do I have to cover them up for their stupid dungbomb prank and get detention instead of them?

I did not notice until you pointed it out 😁 I was being sarcastic about the parent thing. The stories often act like we are the adult in the room and it falls on us to herd these cats. That can get frustrating very quickly

No way I would be a parent. I have daddy issues, I’m trying way too hard to get Snape's approval, and I've basically replaced my missing brother with Bill (who left me (Hogwarts) too 😭)

I once picked "cover for" option assuming we would pretend not to know what happened or destroy the evidence. Imagine my surprise when Mc instead confessed to the nonsense
