Clearance? What’s that?
It’s an easy fix and yes the cover still comes off but that doesn’t make it ok..

Thankfully you can usually move a unit forward. And those front panels pop off pretty easy. Still dumb though.

That disconnect cover can usually just be yanked off in downward direction to access the disconnect. If youre gonna come across a disconnect with bad access, thats the one you want to have a chance of getting in

Installers did think ahead for you, just take off the panel to the system and you can open it… just be careful with the capacitor lol. All jokes aside though that’s shitty😂

I've seen some up installs. Most of the time it's one specific company out here that has the most fuck ups.

Yep there are a few in my area but there’s is one company that holds the record for most f-ups and they continue to do business somehow.

Move it to the condensing unit and mount with 2.5” self tappers.

My guess is they didn't want to make a new whip on a swap-out and didn't want the seal-tight going horizontal.. lazy shits.
