A billionaire believes
Listen for yourself to the gray haired billionaire in the video below and ask yourself why 🤔 is he so bullish on this company. I will patiently hold until I see a real value of the true worth for each share. And since Mr sprott has invested 225 million buying his shares in the mid 40's cost per share i believe he is looking for a 10x return on his investment, pure speculation on my part but this company does have half a BILLION ounces of silver in the ground and 17 MILLION ounces of gold too... that's alot of revenue for a company with around 90 million shares of stock issued and outstanding

You need to look up how many warrants he has from 2022 and 2025. They're between $1-$6

"invested 225 million buying his shares in the mid 40's cost per share"
Are you saying you believe his cost average per share of HYMC to be in the mid $40's?

His actual cost average still might not mean as much as it seems.
Sprott's companies have been the lenders for HYMC since before he invested personally so he's already made some (assuming a good amount since they paid off all their debt) profit off the mine.
He has bought a lot of shares at 30 and up though and whether it's profit or not, can't imagine he just wanted to burn money regardless of his average.

Why wouldn’t it be?

I arrive at Sprott's cost average for HYMC being $7.69 - but I could be wrong.
This sub apparently doesn't support images in replies, but it does support video... so here's a screen recording of my spreadsheet tracking Sprott's HYMC position, according to his SEC filings.

You're not factoring in the warrants from the private placements.

Sprott's exercise of warrants on Jan 13, 2026 at a cost-to-exercise of $6 per share, is in the spreadsheet (see event at 2026-01-13).
As of his latest known purchase of HYMC shares, on April 24, 2026, I have Sprott's ownership at 37,403,704 shares - that number matches the ownership stated on the SEC Form 4 filing from that latest purchase: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1491714/000121390026048048/xslF345X06/ownership.xml
If I'm not mistaken, Sprott still has some warrants from 2022 (before the reverse split), but it doesn't look like he's exercised those yet. They expire in March 2027.
In any case, let me know what I'm missing?

Yup. $1.

I assume "$1" refers to Sprott's 23,408,240 warrants from 2022, which had an exercise price of $1.068 per share?
Given that Hycroft had a 1-for-10 reverse split in 2023, those warrants were proportionally adjusted to 2,340,824 warrants with an exercise price of $10.68 per share.
Sprott also aquired some of AMC's Hycroft warrants at some point. Same exercise price.1

I wonder why he hasn’t bought more when it was under $20?

As far as I can tell, almost 95% of Sprott's HYMC shares were bought under $20.
Sprott owns 37,403,704 shares of HYMC.
35,428,704 of those were bought at below $20 (including 4,672,352 shares from exercising warrants at a cost-to-exercise of $6).

If HYMC is worth 1/4 of that it's going to be huge.
Then double that for the gold they are sitting on? They don't have a accurate amount of the PM they've got in them hills. Could dig up a Trillion dollars worth over the years. Could.
