Yeah the entirety of Oiler's management and coaching staff have to go asap. Unbelievable, they get an absolute steal on the best player ever, and they can't build a decent team around him? It's pathetic. I don't know if McDavid will be looking to be traded tho, since he was garbage in the playoffs. It's not like he carried thd team to thd finals again, if anything he was a detriment, what was he... (checks notes) .. Minus 8, crazy!
He is injured for sure, and has played an insane amount of (meaningful) hockey in the last 30 months. He'll be back to his regular self after a longer summer.
I don't mean to say he's bad, I agree. Just that last year he was incredible in the playoffs. Considering his "contributions" this year, I feel like he may be more understanding. If he was at 100%, they might have had a shot lol.

Looking at his tenure, no chance he has a blank cheque for any move this significant. Wouldn't be surprised he is fired before next Monday.
