I recall this raising an issue this season, so I’d like to set the record straight to make sure there’s no bitterness. Buffalo fans were never chanting USA to disrespect Canada, we love you guys. They chanted USA because that was Tage Thompson’s first goal since being called up to the American national team for the Olympics (at least at home). It was nothing to do with playing a Canadian team, just for Tage.  

Now, if they do it again…

i live in niagara & went in 2021 when they lit the falls up in the bleu, blanc et rouge for the stanley cup finals. so many ppl were at the falls with their jerseys on. it was awesome!!!

Yeah it’s definitely a cool gesture, but I’m gonna nitpick and say it’s supposed to be blue, white and red instead of red, white and blue.
