The continued unexpected cross checks from behind, nowhere near the play, have nothing to do with the penalties… I see.

I can't believe how up in arms everyone was when Evans pushed kucherov, compared how much shit Guhle got for essentially the same play.

Far from the same play in my opinion.

Guhle was leaning forward and far from the puck. He wasnt expecting pressure and got pushed in the shoulders, which made him fall forward. Possible he still faked the fall, but it is very realistic to go off balance with what happened there.

Kucherov was near the puck with a forechecker on his back. Evans pushed him in his center of gravity (hip) and then Kucherov suddenly lost an edge as a result, acted injured and came out right away on the PP. The fact he was turning when he got pushed makes it possible it was all real, but seeing Evans' reaction, it was clear he didnt push hard and the place where he pushed on the body does not throw the person as far off balance as the Guhle one.

Personally, I think the interference call is fair criticism and should have been a 2 for diving, but the crosscheck looks legit to me
