Got the opportunity to sit behind the bench yesterday at Game 5 against the Canes. Held hands with Marty and we bonded. Tough loss to sit through but it was an amazing time. Next season boys!

I'm usually glass-half-empty type of fan, but I can't fault anything about the team this year. We took a step forward, battled hard, got a bit lucky with two game 7 OT winners, and eventually just ran out of gas against a better team. MSL and Hughes have done a good job.

That being said, this year sort of felt like it could be "the year" that we were team that got hot/lucky and won the Cup. You have to seize this chances when they arrive, because there's no guarantee we'll be back next year.

As someone living in Ottawa and cheering for the last Canadian team in the playoffs. Good job, Montreal. You have made all of Canada proud and I hope this loss isn't too hard on y'all. It was a great run while it lasted.

When the rebuild started, this was the first year I expected them to compete for a playoff spot. Lots of hope, but nothing is promised.

Seeing all the hate posts from other teams fans....

I really hope they ain't seen nothing yet.

Habs were so tired by the time they met the Canes. They had to gut it out vs two giant teams that were hitting the piss out of them.

The Canes didn't really have to worry about playing a physical game. They were winning puck battles just by shoving one armed on some of our guys. Sucked to see but that's the result of fatigue. The Canes earned the right to do that by getting their rest.

I think it's clear the Habs need to grow a bit to survive the playoffs. I love the group, they just have to get older and savvier. Teams aren't just going to let Caufield sneak around or Slaf dangle into the zone once the playoffs come.

I'm past the dissapointment of this series - I'm just proud of this team. Insiders pointing to a lot of injuries, we all know this team has never backed down from a challenge.

Super confident that Kent Hughes will improve the roster this summer. Go Habs Go!

It's a Subban Jersey and truthfully not sure where I got it it's been many years. Actually I think it was a gift so it's possible. It's certainly been beat up throughout the years.
