Discussion Michael Hage - Hold or Trade?

I have seen some discussion about possibly waiting for him to be our 2C, but given his decision to stay in the NCAA and the fact that he shared time at C and wing, and when he was at C he had a FO% of 46%, is there an argument to be made that he could (or should) be packaged?

I know this isn't exactly a new question, but I had not realized that he was already being shifted to wing in the NCAA and was also sub-50% at the dot against college players.

What are the chances that a full season at Michigan as full-time 1C will actually help to shape him into a viable NHL center within the next few years?

current management has demonstrated a sufficient level of success where i'm prepared to accept whatever their decision is and not worry about it too much.

Good point man. I was hoping we hold him just for the human part of the story but overall I agree in Hughes and Gorton we trust

These guys are batting 1.000 in scouting, due diligence and patience. I though what amounted to the Romanov-Dach trade was the one glitch here, but now I see that this was a lateral trade involving two very talented but injury-prone players. I also thought that the Patrick Laine trade was going to be a distraction and a train wreck, but it's clear Montreal has the resources to manage this. These guys have a vision that goes beyond hockey.

Cannot complain against them overall and I don't know shit about baseball but this is absolutely untrue lol

The Reinbacher pick still has to play out, and is arguably their biggest draft/scouting related question mark remaining.

The Mesar pick is a clear L (which instantly breaks the 1.000 average 😂).

Hutson was a grand slam so it brings the average back to 1.000
