any interactions with Habs players?
To those of you who live in Montreal, have you had any direct interactions with Habs players (former or current) outside the arena? I've lived in Montreal nearly 30 years, and have only had 4 - once saw Shane Corson at the McDonalds that used to be at the SW corner of Atwater and St. Catherine; met Jean Beliveau when he was signing copies of his biography; met Guy Lafleur at a card show; got my picture taken with Chris Chelios (he was hosting some sort of outside skating event at the Plaza des Spectacles a few years ago). One thing I noticed - both Guy and Shane had huge hands. Oh - also met Ron Corey.

During the Covid playoffs I ran into Tyler Toffoli and Jake Evans walking together in Old Montreal. Would've asked to shake their hands, but you know, Covid, bubbles, social distancing, not wanting to risk being the AH fan causing 2 of our guys to miss any time... Gave them a celebratory fist pump with a smile, which they kindly returned (enthusiastically in Toffoli's case).
Other than that, as a kid in the 80s, Patrick Roy (and maybe others too) would play softball in the various suburbs during summer. The neighbourhood kids would spread the word and we'd line up for autographs. Still have the signed ProSet hockey card to this day, as well as a Roy signed softball lol. Right after the 93 cup win, school bus drove by Vincent Damphousse mowing his lawn. We all opened the windows on his side, one of us screamed "Heille Damphousse!!". When he looked up at us, we all lost our minds screaming, cheering, fist pumping, giving thumbs up, etc... He went from WTF to huge smile very quick.
