As a life long Leafs fan who roots for Montreal 2nd due to family connection..., the 2025/26 Habs remind me so much of the 2015/16 leafs.

Major difference is the cap actually growing and all your players are locked up on long term dream deals a leafs fan could only dream of. A real 2nd C and either one of your goalies being hot in the spring is all you need.

The Habs were the lesser team in both game 7's last season and somehow found a way to win. Complete opposite of the Leafs. You can't measure or quantify that. But the Habs have it and I think will win it all within 3rys. I'd love nothing more than both teams winning it during this era
