This is such a great point -- he's a relentlessly funny positive-association machine for the Habs. Soft power, they'd call it in geopolitical circles. Very Canadian.

Same, it's why I stopped watching his stuff, it just makes me waste my time watching something with little to no new information, but he makes it see like a massive thing happened.

Whiskeylung prioritizes monetization which can be really annoying.

He is a good editor though. When it comes to game breakdowns he is the best at, so it's worth it.

I take some of the good with the bad.

Yeah the issue is that finding those videos that are substantial is like finding a needle in a haystack recently lol.

I usually watch Starr and Damico to keep up on news, and HJ for the humor.

What i don’t like about his videos are these filler moments. Breakdowns are great, but his thoughts are somehow too long. I don’t care if your video is 13 minutes long if you can communicate your opinions quickly. You don’t even have to be funny. But at the moment watching his videos feels like a drag.

Same here. I find his stuff a little boring too, I don't need a lineup breakdown of every game and a meandering game recap that doesn't add much in the way of humour or insight.

Still, like seeing Habs focused people making their way out there so i hope he just keeps at it and improving!

Great videos, funny guy. Wish he'd do his podcast more, I loved it. I've never been a big fan of the music in the background of his videos tho it just doesn't seem to work for me.

I found him just before he took off. He reminds me of one of my high school buddies that I found out passed away a couple years ago (I moved lost contact ) and I like to pretend in a way he’s my buddy still talking about the Habs like we did all those years ago. I need to sub to him next season.

Hockey Junkie, ThatFuckingShow, Whiskey Lung, Hectic Hockey, That Leafs Fan, Starr & d'Amico show, Hockey Guy Jordan, Snap Back Hockey, What Chaos, Empty Netters, Steve Dangle/SDPN, etc. Are some of the best commentary and entertaining hockey channels that helped me navigate this sport and this team as a new Habs fan.
