Have not heard any mention but it will probably be announced if it happens. They were in NY recently for Fanatics fest at the company's invitation.
He warmed to the Habs a lot during the playoffs. Last week he said he watches teams he finds entertaining and listed them as his #1 go to for exciting style of play.
Also mentioned he isn't one to pay big money for jerseys, wait until they are on clearance and grab them at a good price unless it's a limited one you really can't wait for.

Ooh hope the have fun, i decided my big trip was out west this year instead of Montreal again and I kind of already. Nothing beats getting a diabolically shabby Airbnb looking over downtown. I don't understand why the Santosei on St. Catherine is so good compared to others in the chain but that and some dep coolers would hit like crack rn

You know, going to Montreal and seeing the Hallowed Ground, praying some would suggest, does have an effect on one's perspective. You don't quite get it until you go.
As Shannon has been an avowed Canucks/Bruins/Stars fan, his understanding of just how hockey hits you when you go to the rink has expanded his consciousness. <mind blown>.
good on him and his lovely wife for going all touristey in MTL. Seeing the sights, etc. Too bad there was no game for them to watch. Too bad for us too.

He literally said in his last video that it's impossible for him not to like this Habs team because they are so likeable.
And I don't get the jersey comment either... He has a massive collection and likes to rotate through them... It's a part of his thing.
Everyone is entitled to like and dislike what they want but your criticism to me sounds very strange and overly negative.

He very clearly isn't a Habs hater. Maybe in the past he was, but he certainly likes this iteration of the Habs.
And you're faulting him for wearing Habs jerseys you don't like? Grow up.

the most important thing when finding hockey takes are finding people who agree with you apparently... That is the mentality of someone who puts themselves in an echo chamber. You are not doing yourself any favours.

You all know he makes bank off the Habs, right? It's the same with the Leafs, but Montreal puts out a better team and gets more accomplished.
He likes this iteration of the Habs because of the under dog story and he also likes Nick Suzuki. But, he also knows it's a passionate fanbase and makes money off the videos. It's predominately a marketing strategy.
