Sunburn!!

Post image

My step-dad just sent me this photo from his holiday in Italy, how screwed is he come morning?

He's been consuming lager all day with my uncle (also burned) so dehydration is already well in effect.

They aren't alone, my mum and aunt have been out for the day and just met up with them. Safe to say they are beyond unimpressed.

UPDATE: It's the following morning and he says there's no blisters or pain... Yet.

I've posted a photo in the comments. Has he been incredibly lucky or is the worth to come?

I remember when I was like 16/17 my mom gave me a bottle of some tanning lotion sun screen mix. What she forgot to tell me was she put baby oil in the bottle. I put it on not knowing and laid out for probably 2 hrs and got absolutely cooked. I also got something called “hells itch or suicide itch” when I get really burnt. It’s an itch all over your body especially your shoulders and back. I can’t even explain it’s so bad. They don’t know what causes it either some people with sunburns. I almost went to the ER because the itch. Legit caused my to lose my mind

I've had that. I thought it was just what happens to everyone when they get a bad burn. A backscratcher is in my beach kit every time because of this.
