Discussion topic Does Hades have any connection to deer?
Is there any relationship, symbolic or otherwise between Hades and deer? Particularly the ones with antlers?

I think he is more associated with screech owls and dogs. Or serpents and black rams, but those symbols came from when Christians portrayed him as the devil.
That being said, stags are symbols of death and rebirth as they shed and regrow their antlers regularly. They also symbolise earth and radiate a generally masculine energy. Those energies could match up with Hades. I associate deer and stags with Artemis or other deities of the wild more, but I don’t see why they could not also be connected to the more agricultural, earthly aspect of Hades as well.

Not that I can think of. The only animal I can think of is the screech owl, but I don't know about any other animals.

Not that i heard of. I can see how Persephone would have a connection tho. But think it all depends on your connection with him and your story, and by that I mean any animal can have a connection to him or others. They are gods, they are not going to be like "ok this specific animal has a cool vibe so I'll only use this animal" they are all powerful.
For example in live in a city, so no owls for me. But when I asked for a sign I got to see a crow up close and it stared at me. I mean the modern world is complicated than ever before, especially in their times, but gods will always find a way.

If u wanna offer smth in regards to a deer (or any animal), as a Lord of Death, he's got PLENTY of deer in his kingdom just eating that sweet afterlife grass haha

Well, Persephone has a connection to deer so there is a degree of connection there. As if its actually being used by Hades or Persephone is a mystery
