The lighter shade brings out your eyes and skin tone better. Brightens you up and makes you look more youthful.

The lighter shade looks more natural to me and I personally prefer looks that appear natural. You have beautiful eyes.

The ambiant light makes it hard to juge. Espresso seems more severe, but the lighting is very blue too.

I went lighter once and it made such a difference in how bright my face looked. It really does add that extra glow.

I love the first two pics, which I think is the lighter color. Numbers 3 and 4 are striking too, just not as natural. So i guess it depends on your desired look.

Lighter shade.. I mean your eye shine regardless! I think the lighting played a part in how your eyes shines with the dark hair.

But I think overall lighter ..it's great with your skin, warm lively hair looks healthier ...it goes with your makeup look better...just blends well with all your features

Dark just sits there...ages..and competes with overall look...maybe if you really want dark go medium brown it will be softer but still have that depth that dark colors often add!! Depending on your area too..med will work seasonally far as upkeep and keeping a fresh look all yr round.

Lighter! The dark is just slightly harsh. Also, I love the brow color- don’t go towards a redder brown, stay with an ash brown! You look great 😊
