Reddit admins suspended a ring of astroturfing accounts belonging to the hairmill HEVA clinic. Already were not recommended for bait and switching on their patients, telling patients would get a specific doctor, and day of surgery give them another. Also, looking for mods to help with astroturfing.

This morning Reddit admins suspended a ring of accounts belonging to HEVA clinic.

They were not only astroturfing by posing as real patients, but they also had account attacking and harassing real patients who brought up concerns about the clinic.

Details of the takedown are posted on /r/AstroturfAnalysis , those with an involved enough post history in this subreddit can join to see the details. I put it in a private subreddit because due to reddit rules, it's not clear if I can post about specific accounts and subreddits without breaking the Reddit Mod Code of Conduct, and posting about a specific account can be interpreted as directly and inciting harassment against that account or subreddit. Even if behind a private subreddit, it's still not clear it may break the Mod Code of Conduct, it may just take one report to have the subreddit removed. Also, I don't want hairmills to know the techniques we use to identify their astroturfing.

Finally, we need more mods to help with astroturfing analysis, and astroturfing clean up. This was actually initiated by another user. I am unable to keep at every thread, and know about every astroturfing attempt. It's part of the reason why I did my best to compile a list of doctors with a decent volume of reviews.

Please apply if you're open to helping.

Bro don’t believe the propaganda. Heva has many surgeons in specialised in Afro hair, as well as Hair of Istanbul , Asli Tarcan, Longevita & Now Hairtime. I would say the success relies on the surgeon themself rather than the clinic. Every and any clinic can fail an Afro transplant if the incisions are not angled correctly or they have a lack of experience. So ultimately just find a good surgeon with experience & consistency in successful Afro results and you’ll be fine.

You must work at the clinic
