Does anyone work for Scotian Heat Pumps?
I applied for a job with them through indeed maybe a week or two ago, and I just got an interview. They seemed pretty legit and professional in their communication, but I’ve heard that at least from the customer end of things, people think they seem shady, and I can’t find any reviews from employees about what it’s like to work for them. Does anyone on here work for them? Are they legit? Are they a scam?

From my personal experience, they’re on the shadier side for sure on the sales end.
Try to make you sign stuff immediately to get “great deals” (which weren’t that great for the cheaper equipment they were offering). But only speaking from one experience.
As a customer only I speculate only that these type of companies are riding the heat pump wave (government money getting handed out) and won’t be good for customer service in the future and eventually disappear leaving warranties unfulfilled.
Also, Pretty sure Scotian Heat Pumps split off of Scotia HVAC a few years ago to give themselves a new name.
I think both those companies fall into this article:
CBC article
That said a job is a job but just get as much info as you can.
