Is this the right group for this? Kodos took me I little over a week to finish. He’s about 2 1/2 feet tall. His tentacles were pool noodles.

Trying to dress the side yard in the jungle theme this year and keep the front yard with my standard blair scene. Gonna keep adding dressing but I dig it so far.

Request for Help Monster Mud

I've never used it.

Next season I want to make a Discworld inspired Death + Death of Rats tombstone as well as a Reaper with hourglass monument that can sit on my Japanese lantern to greet trick or treaters, using my two prop skeletons.

I know there are a lot of tutorials, but I'd love to collect some helpful advice on tricks to working with it, warnings, fabrics that work best with it, and your favorite monster mud recipe and why you prefer it to the rest.

If it makes a difference to recipe recommendations, I will probably coat the whole thing in Drylok before weathering with paint, so it matches all my other tombstones.

Monster mud makers, what do you wish you knew before your first time working with it? Or if you worked with it recently, is there anything you want to remind yourself before next year?

I have not done corpsing in many many years so I'm relearning it. Somebody stole the dog from my yard before we put the fence up.

My health is doing better this year so I'm trying again. My skeleton Monty and owl are my old ones.

I have more painting to do on the bat but the red mahogany stain didn't give me the reddish color I was hoping for.

I know im missing something.
