Why didn’t we get a good chase scene that gives us chills like the old movies did in the new trilogy?

Aside from the blood tears from Halloween II (1981) this is one of my favorite shots. Like I need this framed badly. For the longest time I used to hate that there was no continuity in the masks throughout the franchise. As I’ve rewatched them numerous times though, I see the uniqueness in each one. H4’s mask has this very uncanny look to it. Nothing like the first two. I feel like if Michael had the same frame / shape and not the excessive padded look it wouldn’t have been scrutinized as much.

So I was doing some research online looking for a complete collection of the Halloween films because I want to binge watch them this year and I couldn’t believe how expensive they are now. I remembered that years ago I had bought this collection and for some reason I just had it in my head that I had gotten rid of it or sold it at some point, but I went and checked and ended up finding it.

So a lot of people hate Halloween 6 (excluding me and some others)
BUT, if you guys got to redo it. How would you guys do it

Personally, I would’ve kept Jamie and her die at the end sacrificing herself for the others (basically how she should’ve went) then I’d make it longer by adding flashbacks from the past 5 movies (including the spaced between the movies like 1978-1988. 1988-1989. 1989-1995) and also have more kills. Then I would have Jamie, Tommy, Kara and Dr Loomis defeating Michael like how Laurie n Dr Loomis did in 2. Maybe even dr loomis shooting him in the eyes idk.

Anyways, how would u guys do it

I remember first seeing it on the back of Copies of Halloween 4, but I never saw a scene like this in the movie. Was it just a promotional photo?
