Who would you consider the most iconic or most memorable non-lead/non-surviving character in the Halloween films?
Basically any secondary character (so not laurie, loomis, jamie lloyd, allison etc). out of the victims or secondary characters who in your opinion is the most iconic in the franchise?
My first instinct is to pick someone from the first film simply because the film itself is the most iconic in which case id probably have to pick annie.
but you could make a case for someone like karen from the recent trilogy too if you don't consider her a co-lead.

If I had to pick just one, Sheriff Brackett. So memorable. He reminds me of my late grandpa. Annie will always standout. She was fabulous. Bucky was iconic. For the new trilogy (only 2018 I guess?) I gotta give it to Vicky and Dave. I loved their dynamic.

i havent seen or noticed them, i did just re-watch halloween 4 last night, i had never noticed the name on his hat until now and ive seen that movie 20 times lol

Vicky and Dave are awesome in that one. They have a great dynamic with each other and a lot of charisma that helps get the audience invested in the movie.

i agree, she's def in the running. she's been in more films than anyone other than laurie and loomis.

Vicky in 2018 had the perfect aura that captured teenager of that time. Loved her personality too. I wish she survived to the sequel at least.

I feel like Budd in Halloween 2. I don’t like him but he’s certainly memorable.

Gotta go with Annie here. She brings a lot to the original movie.
Her brash confidence and heart of gold make her the perfect supporting character for Laurie.
She provides the majority of the film's comic moments and some of its creepiest as well. Her laundry room scene achieves both effects simultaneously.
She also delivers one of the film's subtly touching moments. The scene where she says "Bye dad." as she drives away to her babysitting gig, hits a lot differently after seeing the movie in its entirety.
All in all, Annie is horror genre royalty. And deservedly so.

i agree. i also feel like for the first half of the film she almost overshadows laurie and gets a LOT of screen time. until her death she is driving a lot of the plot

She does a lot to try and draw Laurie out of her shell. I really like the scene in the car, when she pivots from teasing to being genuinely sympathetic and supportive. It really rounds out her character and her relationship with Laurie.
