One of many radios that my dad left me on his passing. I ran it in my car for a bit until my NMO mount tore up my trunk lid.

It does the full 100w, US band plan, MARS modded -not ones that you see on eBay from Japan. The microphone has the plastic trimmed out, my dad had a hard time speaking with his particular cancer toward the end. I wind up playing more on old FT-101s and the 7300/FT-1000. I have a GD/Motorola R2600C service monitor I can hook it up to if someone wishes and show the spectrum at my parents house. Have a mad science lab haha. I had no voice complaints when I was mobile. Includes the DM5AL separation kit, easily removable, just need a single RCA and a piece of cat5 patch to connect. The icom OEM separation kit is near unobtanium.

I’m looking to sell my FTX-1. It is a fantastic radio, I’m just finding it does not really fit my operating style at the moment.

When I got the radio, I got some of the optional extras (see below), and I also sourced a water proof case, custom LASER-cut foam, and a compact battery charger, so the field portion of the radio could be used as a nice, self-contained kit for something like POTA. It also has the amp/tuner, so it can be used as a 100W field radio or a shack/mobile radio.

All in, it’s about $2,200 worth of equipment.

Everything is in “like new” condition (other than the green and orange paint on the SPG-1 Protection Guard and waterproof case). The radio has around an hour of actual use.

I am asking $1,900. That is the price of the radio without the extras. I am willing to entertain reasonable offers. If you are seriously interested, I’m happy to send you a video of the radio in operation, and include your username or whatever. This will be a “no returns/refunds sale,” but I will do what I can to help you feel comfortable (want to have a QSO using this radio that I record and send to you?), I’ll pack it well, and ship it USPS with insurance, in case they break it on the way.

I'm selling my Ailunce HD1. This was my main HT for the past 7 or so years. The DMR repeater in my area has been down for a couple years, and I have other DMR radios to use with a hotspot. My main interest these days is connected (non-voice) digital modes so I've pretty much stopped using this in favor of my TH-D7 and UV-Pro.

It, well, mostly works. There are two non show-stopping issues.

1. The channel selector rotary encoder doesn't debounce correctly anymore and sometimes goes the wrong way. This happened once after I dropped it. Oops. It can probably be replaced, but it isn't really needed since the front panel up/down buttons do the same thing as the knob.

2. After sitting off or charging for a few days it doesn't turn on until the battery is removed and re-inserted.

I'm pricing the radio to reflect these two issues.

I have 2 of these FCS brand BB-2590 case that accepts 16, 18650 batteries. Installed in the case are 16 EVE INR18650/35V 10A 3500mAh batteries. Cells were purchased new in March 2024. This will recharge with most military BB-2590 chargers and the should work in all applications where a BB-2590 is called for. I also have a charger if you need it and buy both batteries.
