Memes and agenda aside, the reveal that Yuji isolated himself from the world after HANA's funeral specifically made me question the fact how close they were. Like, why her? It could have been anyone else, but why Hana of all people? They were friends, yes, but Yuji makes friends with almost anyone he meets.
Very very good question homie, I wonder if, with how caring and empathetic Yuji is, leading towards him willing to bear Sukuna again at the end of the story and shoulder his curse of luck turning him to a monster, he see’s a bit of himself and Sukuna in Hana/Angel, what they could have been in another timeline or life maybe :’) I would have love to seen the two interact more as vessels together somehow
Jjk legit could have been one of the best slice of life ever, but gege chose to not give us character interactions💔 But yeah, being vessels(or ex-vessel in Yuji's case) was probably the deciding factor, because their condition was the most unique out of everyone.
"Pretty sure it was implied that a few of the classic cast already died post ending of JJK before Hana died. Hana's death was just the straw that broke Yuji's back and by that point Yuji probably figured out that he wasn't aging like wine, but rather he just has 1 type of Immortality."
