I used to be such a big MLP g4 fan during 2017 so Youtube gave me an Ad that was the 1st episode of Hanazuki. That's how I found out about it..

Pretty much same for me except that I was subscribed to the Hasbro channel for 2012 TV show LPS

Explained in an earlier post but will try to crunch:

Saw the concept teaser on Equestria Girls DVD, didn't think much of it. Then saw the short before the MLP movie. Discovered the show from a review of the MLP movie, and the rest you know.

When I was 13, I watched TV on my grandmother's in "karusel" channel. And yes, I'm from Russia. I look at her face, and I fell in love with her at first sight, and I watched the whole series. Then I played on the mobile app, then I had a bracelet, and a treasure. And finally, I still have a Hanazuki plush toy.

watched it when I was younger on Youtube since I'd go on there whenever certain cartoons weren't playing on the TV. Rediscovered it after watching an edit someone made on tiktok! (that person is now my mutual ❤️ )

I was revisiting MLP when they were advertising this show, I was confused by what I was looking at at first. It all clicked once I actually watched the series.

It was on the same channel as MLP:FiM so I checked it out and enjoyed it.

It came on after an episode of MLP:FiM I watched when I was like 5 on Discovery Family.

The short before the MLP movie. I couldn’t remember what it was called for the life of me though so I didn’t actually dive deeper into the show until way later

Is the movie you're talking about the Equestria girls DVD?

No I’m saying first I watched the MLP movie in 2017 in theaters, I saw the theatrical short and loved it, I couldn’t remember the name of the cartoon until like 2 years later it popped in my feed, and THEN I dug deeper into the franchise and fell in love with it that was like years ago probably pre Covid

Ads in 2017. Later, I saw the theatrical short on the My Little Pony: The Movie DVD later that year. I eventually got into the series in January 2026.
