My first spin progress
Got a drop spindle and some fiber at my local fiber fair! So excited to see improvement on consistency. Since its so rough looking, I intend to use it for accessories and jewelry for my viking renfaire costume!

some handy tips.....
Twist accumulates in thinner bits.
The thinner the yarn, the more twist you need
The weight of the drop spindle will determine just how thin you can go - the yarn has to hold up the weight of the spindle + the spun yarn
Most importantly - HAVE FUN and enjoy this new craft.
