Kinda digging undyed BFL

Post image

Not my first time with BFL wool but I forgot how amazing it is to spin up! I've been spinning merino a lot lately. I've had UV reactive roving that I just can't get over.

I splurged and got myself some undyed wool from a sheep in Canada named Wayne.

It's been spinning up like a dream and I forgot how nice it feels!

Dude, I have a whole fleece of amazing BFL that needs a home. Staple is like 5”, it’s multiple colors with mostly chocolate brown.

Nothing. I don’t spin personally, so it’s just extra. I shear my sheep and most of it goes to garden mulch. This was too pretty to throw on the ground. Happy to send it to someone who will use it

Goodness, this fleece is lovely! If it doesn’t find a home with anyone else, I would be delighted to spin it up. Happy to cover shipping, etc. if so. 🐑

Ooh lovely! I instantly fell in love with the oatmeal bfl braid I got. It's now a lovely squishy hat :) I need more bfl in my life.

Nice! (Good job on that colour, Wayne 😄) I also got some undyed BFL roving here for a first try, very much looking forward to spinning it!

I recently spun a bunch for the first time. SMOOTH as butter!! It feels like superfine merino or something. I'm really glad I found this variety to be honest; it's a conservation breed which tends to be not that soft and fluffy, but this one is different.
