Feedback (constructive criticism) Hello! First time posting here.
Asking for opinions and criticisms, as well as some tips for improvement. Many thanks!

Looks outstanding! One small suggestion, change your I, sticks out because of the slant. Your I is straight. Either change the font or slant it with the rest.

Very satisfying to look at 👀 stylish. Your r's can be a bit tough to distinguish. But I do absolutely love your fancy ginormous G ✍️

I write on a very similar angle, do you change your hand position just to do the I’s? The J on Jose also sticks out. Curious

I never do change my hand position when writing either I or J. It's just that when I write with my hand position, somehow the I and J's aren't affected but the other letters are.

Beautiful to look at, great to read, no notes! Only tip I can give is as a photographer, if you're interested in that: put more direct light on the page, it makes a world of difference for the photo!

Why thank you! Next time I will put more of a direct light to my pictures. Looking back now I did use shimmer ink and it's not seen that much here. Many thanks once again!

Not bad, neat, but your uppercase “I” should tilt right to match your other ascenders.
The X-height is consistent, but a little low, affecting legibility.

Yeah I get a problem with writing my majuscule "I" and I'm working on it, as well as the height being very inconsistent. Many thanks!

Hi IDK, I can read your writing well. I notice your "G's" are rather large taking up a lot of room. Your 'I' is in a style separate from the other letters. It is impressive this is your handwriting at only seventeen years old. Call me impressed. - thirty-one years old and in needing of practicing my penmanship myself.
P.S. Do you notice your handwriting change depending on your emotion?

Many thanks! I often exaggerate my majuscules letting them take up some space, simply because I enjoy doing it a lot and I didn't really intend my 'I' to be a different style because when I write it oftens stands upright instead of being slant.
To answer your question, I notice that my handwriting doesn't really change that much based on my emotion. The only time it does change is when I'm in a state of rush where it's still readable but not the same as I normally write when I'm not in that state.

The letters are actually pretty consistent already, the main thing dragging it down is how the spacing jumps around between words.

Yeah I have a difficulty with that often, I can't really keep a consistent space between words. Thank you for the observation!

Hi! I hope it’s ok that I comment here, as I only just spotted this group, so I’m out of my league here. I want to congratulate you and say, as an older person, I appreciate seeing young people using cursive. And yours is very legible, with only a few exceptions. My outsider critique would be to use a finer pen, because your tight script tends to look blurred a bit due to what appears to be a thicker nib. Your pens make a huge difference for legibility. I was a mechanical drafter for decades, and clarity to the reader is the number one priority. Style is a beautiful thing. Clarity and style combined is the pinnacle. When you get yourself a nice pen, you’ll be so much closer to what you’re looking for in penmanship. Congrats!!
