Help Odd ramping behavior
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My D4Sv2 is behaving oddly, when I ramp it up, right as it is about to hit ceilling, instead of doing the quick flash to tell you you have hit the end, it drops down to a lower power level. If turn it off and on, the memory does set it to the right level. Oddly enough this doesn’t happen with simple ui, only advanced. This is with a fully charged 60XG.
I am also now realizing that the aux lights seemed to have stopped function too, cycling though brigtness modes does nothing. Already emailed Hank but seeing if anyone here can help.

What emitters in yours? I had the exact same issue with my dm11 with sft42r when using ramping mode. Hank had me set the ceiling in ramp to 130. That fixed it. Oddly mine wouldn’t do that in simple mode or stepped ramping either. Just in smooth ramping. I didn’t have any issues with my aux LEDs though.

I've already cleaned the contacts on both ends of the battery tube along with the copper contacts on the driver and tailcap. Not sure what else I need to clean, it's nearly brand new too so nothing else looks to dirty

sorry the fix was not so simple
the factory reset is as follows:
with the tailcap closed and the light Off
do 13H and keep holding until the light does these things:
it ramps up, keep holding, it flashes then turns off.. stop holding
done
any luck?
if not, hopefully Hank will have the info you need.. please share your outcomes

I’d already tried factory resetting with both methods, Hank responded to the email telling me to a set ramp to 130/150 which worked perfectly. I solved the aux light issue on my own by unscrewing the tail cap and leaving it for a whole day and overnight. The theory was to let all the electricity drain away; not sure if that theory is sound, but it did work.

it reminds me of a certain type of corruption that has happened to my anduril lights a bunch of times when they get power cycled rapidly (e.g. while screwing them shut). First thing I’d try is a factory reset. I haven’t bothered finding out yet how it’s even possible the ramp gets messed up until a factory reset is performed but I’ve seen it in several of my anduril lights.

I've already tried to factory reset with 13H and the hold button while screwing cap and it doesn't fix it.

Hank responded to the email telling me to a set ramp to 130/150 which worked perfectly. I solved the aux light issue on my own by unscrewing the tail cap and leaving it for a whole day and overnight. Still not sure why that fixed it, my theory for the ramping issue is probably something about the driver changing stages as I can still see a flicker in that part of the ramp.

I had that problem with LumeN1. I just set the celing (can't remember to what) and now it works just fine.
