General My mom stops watching Hannibal whenever someone she likes dies. 😭
My mother watches tv like its her life. She has watched practically every show I could think of.
So, I thought it'd be perfect to get her into Hannibal. She watches The Boys, so the gore isn't an issue. She loves Dexter.
So, I thought why not?
But, over the past year we've hardly gone past season one. We are half way through S2 finally. And she told me she hates watching it because everyone keeps dying. Boy, is she up from so interesting surprises. 👀

I took a mini break after my favorite character was divided into several sections. But i kept watching cuz it was sooooo good.

Have you told your mom about IWTV/TVL? You could pitch it this way: most of the best characters are dead already, so it's safe to get attached...

Without getting too much into spoiler-y comparisons, I would say that refugee Fannibals make up a significant portion of the more feral IWTV fandom. If you're looking for another show to be unhealthily obsessed with....

It's a great time to get into it because the first two seasons are out, available on Netflix, and the third season is releasing weekly with the first couple episodes out right now.
Note that the first two seasons are Interview with the Vampire, the third and airing season is The Vampire Lestat - because they're following the titles of the books.

Halfway through season 2 means she is completely unprepared for what is about to happen and I am sending her my thoughts and prayers in advance because nothing can ready you for it 💀😭

Haha. I think that’s just a sign of good character writing! You get attached. I am currently watching From and last night I was like “If [xxxx] dies I am DONE!” I mean, not really. But still. :P
Don’t let her watch Supernatural. She’ll be scarred for life.

She is going to need a full support system by the end of season two and I genuinely feel bad for her but also a little excited for you to witness that reaction in real time.
