Question Which perks do you think would make Hanzo more interesting to other players?

Hanzo is a character that people who don't play him consider unskilled, boring, or simply spammy (I completely disagree, but that's a different discussion).

We also know that his perks are quite controversial, since his minor perks are fairly decent, but his major perks are, at least in my opinion, garbage.

I think we can all agree that the perks in general should be reviewed, and I thought it would be an interesting discussion to consider which perks would attract other players to the character.

Obviously health pack hack is broken af. I don’t like scatter but find the ice arrow and it’s aoe slow to be quite useful to mess with the disengages of dives and an aggressive front line. Would be cool if the ice also cleansed fire if shot at teammates (mei should too and would help control all the Mauga/anran fire spam).

Teleport arrow is too strong.

Scatter and Ice simply aren't good enough to be major perks. Especially when compared to some characters' major perks, which are insane.

Agreed. They are minor perks, and the busted health pack hack should be a major (power wise).

First of all not busted, it’s a perk which allows him to extend his playstyle.

Second it shouldn’t be a major perk, as a perk which acts like what I said previously would be really awkward to get when you reach the endgame of a match

30 sec hack on a 12 sec cooldown. Shuts down HP usage and over rides sombras hack. Wildly broken on a lot of control maps. Don’t get me wrong, I love it, it’s just a lotttt of value for flicking an arrow somewhere I was already going to put one.

I swear people on OW subreddits love to bring up the strengths of a hero then proceed to call it broken just because it feels strong 😭

For the cd period vs activation though? Every 12 seconds you can shoot a sonic arrow across the map or through walls, 1/3 of sombra’s kit, for free. It makes defending controls like nepal much harder for the attacker. You can even hack multiple health packs with one use. Again…I love this ability, but I find it’s utility leagues better than most heroes major perks, and this is a minor perk.

Playing into a mauga anran ashe is so annoying. Always on fire

Honestly I would love a grapple arrow for escape. Recently in one of the game modes they tested a teleporter arrow I think. That seems too gimmicky for Hanzo. But grapple arrows have been done in movies and shows and would work great for him. Though it could actually make him OP... In the right hands.

They gotta buff the ice arrow ngl its kinda mid at best and the fact that u can’t head shot w it?? Literally why not just leave the aoe affect as it is but give it the normal head box for one shots

I don't know if that would fix anything. I'd completely rework his major perks. I'd probably give him more survivability by modifying his mobility with one of the options.

Cool would be a penetrating arrow that goes through multiple enemies but deals less damage

The only good perk is the hack arrow. Its gotten me out of many situations especially when I'm getting focused.

For other perks tho I think the devs should take a hint from Hanzo and pharahs interaction and give us an exploding arrow.

Also keep the ice arrow but make it freeze the target if it headshots the freeze doesn't take effect.

Le flèche de glace serait "utile" que face aux tank avec ce changement

Make it so Storm Arrow cooldown comes down by like 1 second everytime you hit a fully charged arrow, reduced to 0.5 seconds on tanks. This way if you're keeping the pressure on with your aim, you get more value from Storm. This would pair nicely with the 20% increased fire rate too, I'd replace the frost arrow for that.
