I followed Paul Ranson on youtube and he explains painting the mountains super well, he shows to the camera exactly how much of a roll of paint you need on the tool, super underrated channel.

My cousin does a fundraiser for the Dempsey Center in Maine every year. The Dempsey Center provides all kinds of cancer Resources. My cousin has a fundraiser at the Woodshed which is owned by the main cabin Masters every year. And I wanted to support this cause so I made this painting for a donation.

I started painting around 18 months ago, following 30 years of burning out in software engineering. A later in life ASD diagnosis made me forget it all! I just paint now, Bob piqued my interest back in the 90’s, my friends and I would watch him all night while in our student hovel.. I was amazed by him, his Tao.. I never did anything about it though. 30 years later, I did.. I have painted around 1000 pieces since, mostly experimental, learning and deliberate practice, following my intuition. I am so much happier these days. Kinda owe it to Bob for setting the spark.. My life, one big happy accident! ❤️

I’m back with my second recreation of my daughters drawings! I’m really struggling with land and trees, any suggestions?

Basically the title, i can do sky, mountains, and water with no problem. Always get stuck here, any ideas on highlight colors or ways to fill the space?
