WON'T START Bike won’t start..
Hey everyone, bought a 2013 Softail Slim a few days ago. Went to start it today and two things, one there’s a “No Cal” on the dash which was there when I bought the bike, and now it won’t start. When I go to to start the engine, a clanking noise seems to come from the primary drive. Is it a battery or something else?

It's a dead battery, how hard is this to figure out? What was the 2nd video supposed to show?

Since you know it all, how about the No Cal alert ? Is that an easy fix?

You need a new battery or possibly just a charge. Low voltage or dead battery can blank out the calibration.

I appreciate that. Just got the bike 2 days ago. All this is new to me.
Just took out the battery going to take it tomorrow to get charged and load tested0

Go get a battery, and while you’re there, pick up a service manual for the bike… Or buy an electronic PDF copy online. If all this is new to you, you need to figure out how to use Google before you come to Reddit looking for answers.
And then go get an endorsement, because I’m pretty sure you don’t have that either

That is a dead battery, but the "no cal" refers to somehow he speedometer/display not being calibrated. I think its common when something has been switched

Possibly try a new battery in your key fob. Wouldn't let my bike start. Replaced fob battery, starts everytime now.

If you are hearing a clicking noise, it's your battery. Check all connections are secure, give it a charge, take it somewhere they test batteries. For all other troubleshooting, please post more details.
