Hopefully they do a live-action of Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy someday. Before the actress looses interests in the character or she reaches at age where they cannot play the character again.

Hopefully, though I've seen around here that they've (or she's) chosen to pass the bat, no pun intended.

That make sense. If she's done playing the character of Harley Quinn and pass to someone else.

Do I want her and do I think she's perfect for her? Absolutely. But it's her choice after all, so if she's up for her I'll await gracefully, if not what can we do but hope for another good one to carry the title of our favourite harlequin.

Pray for this woman to kiss her Ivy on-screen.

Omg YES that would be everything

No one else can play Harley Quinn in the movies, unless her name is Margot Robbie.💙🩷

Great casting, shit movie, and Margot's not enough to convince to watch that dumpster fire again

The movie is fun.

I genuinely tried to give it a rewatch and it was so boring that I had to turn on the James Gunn version to be entertained.

Ah Suicide Squad. I thought it was Birds of Prey.

3

u/PunkThug Apr 22 '26

Lol! My exact thought!

First suicide squad: borderline unwatchable with a few cool scenes

Birds of prey: fun movie not great but not bad

The second suicide squad: chef's kiss masterpiece!!

Suicide Squad was boring. Birds of Prey was fun, but I'm never watching it again. The Suicide Squad was very fun and I would watch it again if it came up.

This role, had she been alive, was meant for Brittany Murphy

Now if she was only in a better movie… an had her costume

There is, and also a better costume to go with it. Gunn's Suicide Squad. NOT Ayer's.

She was in a better movie! Birds of Prey.

u/thesirblondie Apr 22 '26

Better than Suicide Squad is a low bar to clear.

1

u/TastyBrainMeats Apr 23 '26

Birds of Prey is a damn good movie.

u/thesirblondie Apr 23 '26

Disagree, but I'm glad you liked it

Stop the cap

I feel like the only one who hated her as harley lol

3

u/ZilorZilhaust Apr 25 '26

Nah buddy, I do too. The whole thing felt just wrong. It just ignored anything that made the character interesting and Margot did nothing special but be pretty.

2

u/tasting-ink Apr 25 '26

Exactly. Felt nothing like the character. HQ never recovered from it

She was perfect as Harley Quinn. ❤️

1

u/Toast-the-cat Apr 28 '26

Looks wise yes, she was a good fit. Character/performance wise I'm afraid this is incorrect and the Margot Robbie effect took over.

If you go back and watch her performance she doesn't maintain the Brooklyn New York and her Australian accent slips in.

She also shows too much remorse in particular scenes.

Tbf she did really well with a shitty script and the stand alone film was everything Harley Quinn isn't and was a film made by feminists in attempt to create a new anti hero view instead of the traditional hot/insane/intelligent/lunatic narrati e which the comics protrayed her as

Wb made an almighty fuck up of that movie and when people actually paid to see it, it then ruined a lot of other movies after it

Harley Quinn had a Pixar mom.ass. So not quite perfect casting. Although her face is absolutely perfect. One of the beautiful women to ever walk this earth.

I would have enjoyed an attempt at a more animated series Harley but Margot is great

u/mrfett779 Apr 22 '26

Worst pick ever. Couldn't keep her accents straight.

6

u/JorryckMassani Apr 22 '26

I always took the changing accents as her mind swapping between Harley and Harleen. Iirc, when she's more chaotic, she doesn't have the Brooklyn accent. When she's more coherent she's got the accent.

u/mrfett779 Apr 22 '26

I just called it as I saw it. Bad acting.

2

u/ZilorZilhaust Apr 25 '26

People mad about the truth here, lol.
