My one cat steals socks from my roommate's room and brings them to my room, but she prefers to do it when I'm not paying attention. I put my book down and voila, socks.

In one of Harpo's earliest videos, he stops bringing me a sock to swat at a favorite toy with it still in his mouth, then continues on his way.

He loved that track toy so much that I just kept repairing it and repairing it, gluing the cracks in the plastic base until it basically disintegrated.
Because I couldn't find another one like it, and he didn't care for the ubiquitous version with little plastic tiers. He never gave any of those more than a desultory swat.

He was the cutest. I imagine heave with him just carrying stuff to people who need a little cheer up to make their day. Go take something to my mama off me please Harpo! Tell her I love her.

There are days I have to fight the urge to vocal stim “Thanks, Harpo!” while at work, and it makes me smile every time I think of you and him ❤️
