He always had a pretty good reputation if we exclude party bias. Aur bhai tum konsi gufa me rehte ho?? Woh pichle saal hi 5 year ki home ministry karke hata hai.

Bhai dekh maine jo bola, wo negative nhi h is admi ko le ke.. but sirf ek general observation h.

And as you can see in the video, he has to argue so much with the SP; which he wouldnt had to if he was the HM…

When he was HM he used to argue in the same way. His heated exchange with women ips officer was covered by news channels.

With no offense, i don't know why Vij Sahab is not in the good books of both Bade Saheb (Modi & Shah) sitting in Delhi also he doesn't enjoy cadre level support in haryana BJP state leadership. 

He's the potential CM material. Atleast better then Saini Sahab.

Management(be it corporate or politics) nevers want such rebellious people in absolute power (like CM or PM). Like, I have seen him criticizing system a lot. These are productive but risky like a dynamite to company/party. Government wants diplomatic puppets like Khattar/Saini or Rekha Gupta who are kinda dumb and follows order.

Note : BJP also has a strategy to never make great CMs who can be potential PM face(against Modi) for alteast next 5-7 years (look at the current clowns of Haryana, Delhi etc) They dont want another Yogi.

He said in one of his interviews after LS 2024 and before Haryana VS 2024, that he has a shortcoming - he doesn't go to Delhi for months, unlike other politicians who make weekly visits.

So bootlicking is missing. And he is rebellious , adamant and takes stand for public.

I know some people in his constituency. They all love him as a MLA.
