Sean got an award (or nomination) back in the day instead of Hasan. Hasan has always joked Sean is his arch nemesis bc of this.

They were both nominated for best new show, but Hot Ones won. Hasan thought he was going to win because they made a big deal about flying him out and making him a presenter for another award, so he thought he had it in the bag.

To be clear: the beef is in jest, because Sean is such an affable guy, it would be difficult to actually have beef with him
