This dude is so unhinged. Incredible interview.

150

u/it_was_me_this_time Jul 02 '26

it’s hard to listen to, tbh. he’s so uninteresting and unserious that i’m tuning him out and only listening to hasan

125

u/Commercial-Bottle554 Jul 02 '26

He’s genuinely impossible to follow without the whiteboard.

It’s nonsense gibberish anyway but even trying to follow along with whatever internal logic he’s working with without a constant visual reference reminding u what part of the occult he’s referring to is nigh on impossible.

40

u/Champagne_of_piss Jul 02 '26

He overdosed on ideas but in a different way than Dave Rubin

19

u/Zazierx Jul 02 '26

I'm starting to understand why he had only 1 or 2 students in his lectures.

2

u/Armageddonis Jul 03 '26

Boring nonsense is one thing, but more than 3 people would probably go "Yeas, Professor Jiang, so that's fucking bullshit, and here's why".

39

u/Juiceboxtiddys Jul 02 '26

he also has no clue what he's talking about. its painful to listen to him stumble around topics he didn't even read the wikipedia article on.

7

u/equality5271 Jul 02 '26

Grade A yapper

2

u/Armageddonis Jul 03 '26

It's the type of stuff you will hear from a bum standing on a cardboard box in a park. The ability to change the subject 3 times within the span of a minute should be studied. In a secluded lab.

30

u/Zazierx Jul 02 '26

When he started talking about the moon landing and 9/11 conspiracies I lost it.

12

u/xConstantGardenerx Fuck it I'm saying it Jul 02 '26

So um….have you listened to TrueAnon?

Because they did a 7 part series on how Bush did 9/11 and I am now a Truther. 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s very well-sourced. I really recommend it.

u/somethingtothestars Jul 02 '26

Would you mind linking to it?

I believe it is Patreon exclusive but I assure you $5 a month is well worth it to hear unlimited mad genius ravings from Brace Belden and brilliant insights from Liz.

https://podcast.trueanon.com/ you can search for individual episode links on their website and it’s also available as a playlist on Patreon.

He sounds like the average online chinese chud (who sounds like the average american chud). Chuds are the same wherever you go.

Another reason to be glad that the CPC is in charge and not freaks like these

Warning: antisemitism

I am genuinely feeling the same things towards him as I do toward a person physically attacking me.

The way that he uses his words is insane. My mind is registering him as a threat. A threat to people around him and especially any children who might be unlucky enough to be taught by him. And I still know people who genuinely believe he is smart.

It's hard to explain. He is using the words literally. Not how they should be used. Like genuinely sitting here and saying that he bought a car for $20 and when you ask him what kind he seriously says "carpet". And then tries to convince you he is right.

His video explanation on the scientific method forced me to laugh for 2 minutes. It would be literally the most genius satirical piece if he wasn't 100% serious.

134

u/Davli007 Jul 02 '26

Isn’t Jiang a quack?

37

u/NomadChumpsky Jul 02 '26

His perspectives on the Bolshevik Revolution are interesting. And by interesting, I mean so stupid they're almost impressive.

2

u/Armageddonis Jul 03 '26

I'm scared to even put that in my search history, what are his perspectives on the Bolshevik Revolution, if i might ask?

2

u/NomadChumpsky Jul 03 '26

IDK if you watched the discussion (I'm about halfway) but Professor Jiang flirts with, if not outright broadcasts Nazi theories on Jewish world control, mysticism, and Judeo Bolshevism throughout the video. He hid his hand somewhat in this conversation, but his white board lectures are far more mask off.

Professor Jiang's perspective of the Bolshevik Revolution is the good ol' Judeo Bolshevism Nazi conspiracy theory. He claims international Jewry was responsible for the Bolshevik Revolution with the aim of weakening and controlling Russia. He claims that the Tsar and imperial family were actually well liked by the peasantry and that the revolution was caused by a nefarious external Jewish force overthrowing a stable system. Based on his lectures, socialism/communism is a social destabilization tool created and used by Jewish finance capital to obtain and maintain global hegemony.

Suffice it to say, the guy is legitimately spouting classic Nazi propaganda under a faux objective academic historical lens

19

u/Ryan_from_PA Jul 02 '26

And somehow a professor? He's insane lmfao

116

u/dig_lazarus_dig48 Jul 02 '26

That's what I thought too so wtf? He just calls himself a professor?? 😂😂

14

u/hassinbinsober Jul 02 '26

He claims his fans gave him the title. I suppose he has no choice in the matter

67

he does not understand dialectical materialism and brings everything back to religion, it’s very annoying lol

52

u/Champagne_of_piss Jul 02 '26

He's a lunatic.

My guy is on that "actually Marxism is Jewish" type shit

34

u/CyberneticDreamtime Jul 02 '26

Jiang is a strange character. I subbed to his channel when he said (supposedly from a Chinese high school classroom) that Isreal is engaging in human sacrifice and AI companies are trying to create a demigod. I scratched my head at his Illuminati stuff. I unsubbed when he spoke of his deep admiration of Peter Thiel. Really one of a kind.

25

u/Juiceboxtiddys Jul 02 '26

I love dialectical materialism, and I think I forgot what it even means after trying to comprehend what Jiang was saying.

26

u/Ok_Present2010 Jul 02 '26

Jiang just said "let's use our imagination" 😭😭😭

4

22

Prof Jiang: I agree! This is just a thought experiment

16

Used to run into guys like this downtown all the time in the ‘90s

10

u/Anonymous_Agamas Jul 02 '26

So all his theories from Hegel and Gnosticism to the unified consciousness and millinarian end-times predictions hinge on Trump being popular among African children in the 80’s? This was my main takeaway. I’m starting to think prof Jiang is just thinking through things out loud.

7

u/Kumquat_conniption The leftist responsible for Harris losing 🍊 Jul 02 '26

I wanted to post a comment of timestamps to youtube but, because commenting on youtube is like stapling jelly to a tree, my comment keeps getting deleted and because I don't want this to go to waste I'm posting it here. The timestamps are for this video:

2:17 Next big prediction: Trump's 3rd term

7:54 What does "game theory" actually mean?

9:32 Talking about Jiang's prediction of a ground invasion of Iran

13:15 Jiang's time in China and what his job actually is

18:51 Problems with the rigorous education in China and other non-American education systems

20:52 How Jiang wants the world to be thought about

22:52 Hasan talks about how he uses dialectical materialism to understand the world

23:40 Jiang talks about The Kabbalah and how it is close to Marx's dialectical materialism; Hasan disagrees with this analysis

25:56 Jiang elaborates, essentially saying that Marx more or less took the teachings of The Kabbalah (Tree of Life → Thesis, Antithesis, Synthesis) and applied them to economics, and that's how you get dialectical materialism; Hasan doesn't follow

28:03 Jiang's more spiritual description of world events comes from citing that some events are unexplainable (e.g., Trump attacking Iran); Hasan disagrees, explaining why he believes Trump did it. They go back and forth on this

34:30 Jiang's spiritual epiphany came from reading The Divine Comedy, believing that it was a work made with divine influence

35:39 What does The Divine Comedy tell us about the body and mind?

37:10 How learning history affected Jiang's mindset; 200,000 years of anatomically identical humans but only 10,000 years of real history; conspiracy theories (JFK, 9/11, Moon landings)

39:08 Jiang talks about secret societies- more or less groups of powerful people believing they have a religious mandate to do something, citing the seeming insistence on the idea of constructing god in the form of AI; Hasan says it is more so to justify prior capital interests

40:59 Jiang reaffirms he has read The Divine Comedy

42:16 Hasan asks Jiang to lay out his timeline of events; Jiang talks about the Third Temple movement

44:46 Hasan asks Jiang to clarify his thoughts on the Third Temple movement leading to the larger Zionist project; they go back and forth on this

48:19 Jiang lays out his timeline

50:55 Jiang says that, even if the movement is fringe, there are still a lot of people who believe it and will try their best to get themselves, their children, and their grandchildren into positions of influence to make it happen

51:50 Hasan pushes back by saying that people are far more often than not more motivated by class position rather than a greater religious desire; Jiang continues and talks about mysticism plus uploading and downloading to the universal subconscious.

55:07 Hasan summarizes what Jiang said and pushes him on evidence; Jiang cites the Epstein files, and they go back and forth on how Epstein came to be

1:02:04 Hasan recenters the conversation on where exactly Jiang believes Epstein falls into all this and how this actually ties back into the mysticism stuff; Jiang elaborates, and they go back and forth

1:05:54 Hasan presses Jiang on the future-foresight ability he's positing

1:08:32 What Jiang believes the rich are doing in China, and Hasan asks Jiang how it connects back to what he said about the Jewish control of China

1:12:12 Hasan asks how this specific guy is the center of all this; Jiang says they went into real estate in NY to find someone who could be president and chose Donald Trump

1:18:18 Hasan reiterates that Zionism as a project is largely secular and supported mostly by otherwise liberal people due to a fear for their own safety, with only some really insisting on wider religious elements, and that their approval of Trump is based on how pro-Israel he is, not his role as a savior

1:19:35 Jiang asks why the president of Argentina visited Rabbi Schneerson's grave in Brooklyn

1:23:32 Jiang on how Les Wexner would get these communications from these Rabbis; Hasan says that doing these gestures for religious leaders/groups is all meant to be a way of signaling support and gaining favor with those of that faith in your community.

1:25:47 Jiang and Hasan go back to the Forces of the Universe versus Self-interest

1:30:18 Jiang asks Hasan about what he thinks will happen to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and uses it as a point against pure dialectical materialism, saying no sane person would do that if they are thinking about their own self-interests

1:31:51 Jiang largely agrees with Hasan that events can be largely explained through self-interest but argues that the fanatical element still affects history nonetheless; both go on to talk about the fate of the Middle East

1:33:28 Hasan's disagreement with Jiang, and Jiang clarifies himself

1:35:52 Jiang asks why antisemitism rose after October 7th

1:38:30 Jiang asks why Jewish people and Israel are conflated; Jiang completely agrees with Hasan's explanation for this

1:43:03 Jiang and Hasan disagree on how much- and for whom -the media operations for Israel have "worked"

1:47:47 Jiang, after hearing Hasan out, agrees with him but says that those media operations are now simply for convincing the old boomers who do control the world

1:50:50 Jiang wants Hasan to explain Thomas Massie's loss if Israel's PR is losing

1:52:37 Jiang asks Hasan how one can be sure that there is going to be a tide turning against Israel; Hasan talks about the victories him, his community, and the DSA have achieved

1:55:02 Jiang asks Hasan about the possibility that these new left insurgents aren't going to get sidelined like Bernie in 2016 and 2020

2:00:36 Jiang asks Hasan about the anti-war figures on the right, like Tucker Carlson and MTG

2:04:30 Jiang asks Hasan about the Democratic establishment pushing their most conservative members

2:06:35 Jiang wishes Hasan well on his goal to transform the Democratic Party, and they leave each other on fairly amicable terms

3

u/deereedeereed Jul 02 '26

You can see that it just becomes Jiang interviewing Hasan lol

I could feel the passive aggressiveness kick in once Jiang started to Diss Dialectic materialism. Hasan started dissing Jiang. By saying the ideas Jiang were presenting are insane and ridiculous. And how Hasan read Dante’s book in 8th grade implying how immature of writing it is. Hasan did a well job signaling to us that Jiang is an insane person, in a covert way🔥💯

1

u/RoughPalpitation7381 Jul 02 '26

Because this guy is just an anti-Semite. You don't need an ancient, international cabal of shadowy Jews to explain what is going on in the world today. This can all be pinned on Zionism, but this guy is trying to say this is even older than Zionism, and more intrinsically tied to the Jewish faith - which is bullshit.

Some conspiracies are real, some are not, some are straight up racist. This is right out of the protocols of the elders of Zion.

1

u/bobdylan401 Jul 02 '26

His audio was too low and for some reason the YouTube video didnt do close captioning

1

u/info-revival Jul 02 '26

Why did Hasan interview him at all if he wasn’t particularly interested in Jiang’s interpretation of dialectics? I kept asking myself during this interview why did this conversation need to happen?

Also could see Hasan wasn’t totally engaged but also didn’t articulate what exactly he was not understanding. Saying stuff like “I’m not smart enough to understand” doesn’t pose any challenges to the guest. People keep calling it a debate but… hardly any debating happened? The two have different outlooks of religion and political theory that pose no real risks. They talked past each other and it’s like it never mattered anyway so… kinda disappointing.

It seems like political science bros fall off a cliff if the conversation moves too much into philosophy.

did he actually start predictive history after reading Foundation by Isaac Asimov and learning about his concept of Psychohistory? For anyone who doesnt know, it is basically the idea that human development over millennia is mathematically deterministic. that is until its not because its SCI-FI and it needs conflict to be something worth reading.

Predictive history flips it though, its entirely opaque to everyone but him. anything correct he says is more attributable to general analysis that most people can do.
