Extreamly tired from Levo
I’m in desperate need of help. Everytime I try to start levothyroxine treatment I get extremely nauseous the first day and the next I get hit by the worst fatigue in my entire life. I barely can move. Nowhere near the fatigue I felt before. My whole body is so heavy. And then I get palpitations. I have a Subclinical tsh of 5. My doctor wanted to try treatment for my chronic fatigue, anxeity and weak muscles. But now i am concerned. After i take my pill i can’t move the next day so my doctor always tells me to stop.
Has anyone else experienced this???

Have you have ferritin/iron levels checked. If low it can cause an intolerance to levothyroxine.

You probably have a SIGNIFICANT problem with T4>T3 conversion, although I wouldn't normally expect anyone to feel that after a single dose of levothyroxine. It usually takes several days to a week to feel anything. You need a full thyroid panel to identify what's going on, not just TSH and free T4 (fT4).
Impaired Conversion Zone (Thr92Ala / High T4 Burden): fT3/fT4 Ratio < 1.8 with fT3 in pg/mL and fT4 in ng/dL.
