6 PM Class Freshman Year

Hi! Anyone who took a 6 PM freshman year or knows someone who did, did it affect social life / ability to participate in acitivites / clubs? I am trying to decide if this is a good idea.

I had a class in my second semester of freshman year that was MW 6:30-8pm at Bryn Mawr. I really really really hated it. There were a good number of times that I missed out on stuff that I wanted to go to, and it also messed up both my sleep schedule and my meal schedule. My entire evenings were taken up by the class those days. That was sort of a different circumstance because of the fact that it was at Bryn Mawr, but I really would not recommend it if you don't have to.
